Loved the book. Even more so because years ago. I was a psych nurse. Patients husband said she was trying to kill him.He was very believable. My roommate and I ran into her (on a pass) at a mall and had coffee with her and gave her a lift to hospital. On return to hospital we were told she had called him while on her pass with more threats. Same time we were with her. We then did a sting op on him. It happens?

I'm so glad you enjoyed my book. It's scary how convincing some psychopaths can be, wonderful that you caught your patient's husband out in a lie. I imagine there are quite a few people in psychiatric wards who are saner than those ones who had them committed in the first place. So sad.

What is your writing schedule like? Do you write everyday? For a set number of hours or do you strive for a specific word count? How long does it take you to write a novel start to finish? Just wondering because it seems you are publishing a book a year which considering editing, etc. seems like a lot!! Love both books by the way.
