Sure.
It can be frustrating, especially when you want to write but for some reason can't. It can be time-consuming, exhausting, strenuous.
I both love and hate this about writing: that my characters' feelings become my feelings. If the story is in a place all about adventure and love and friendship - it's fantastic; but when I write about hardship and depression and pain it drains me.
Writing can influence my own mood in a way I have to actively heal. I'm still learning the right methods for self-care.
