I am reading the 5th book, Pilfered Promises. Have completed all the books, except the 4 short story book. That is next. Love the books! When is the next, 6th book, coming? Looking forward to hearing from you. FYI, got tuned into your Maids of Misfortune by my husband, who got the book from Book Bub. Have devoured the rest since reading the 1st one.

Dear Gail, I am just starting to do the research for the sixth book, so I am afraid it won't be out for some time, but I hope to publish at least 2-3 short stories featuring people from the series in the interim. I hope you got the message that if you sign up for my newsletter ( which I use to announce any new publications or promotions), that you can get the collected short stories for free.

Just finished Maids of Misfortune and loved it. I heard you speak at the San Diego's Writer's Conference a couple years back and I'm so happy I finally started your series! Do you plan to continue writing in this genre? Also, what is your favorite part about writing historical fiction?
