What inspired you to write, The Ones Who Got Away? I read an excerpt and LOVED it. It’s a touching story so far. Can’t wait to read it now. Hoping to hear from NetGalley soon. :)

Thanks, Linda! So glad you enjoyed the excerpt. : ) The story idea came from watching news stories. One day (I don't remember what the event was), I found myself wondering what happens to survivors of these big national news events down the line. Like once the news fades, how do they move on and live their lives? Do they always feel labeled as a survivor or news story to the world? Is that good or bad? How does it affect their identity and how they approach life? And being a romance writer, I wanted to give people who'd been through something like that happy endings. So that's where the series idea came from. I wanted to create a group of survivors who were layered and interesting and still dealing with their past but who were also ready to move on and find their brand of love and happiness. : )

Hi Roni, I'm a big fan of your "Loving on the Edge series", & I just finished reading "Not Until You". What I want to ask is, was Ian Foster ever mentioned in any of the previous stories, since he belongs to "The Ranch", & knew Andre from seeing him there, & he's friends with Kade? It's driving me crazy trying to remember? I really liked his story, so looking forward to Pikes! Help please! Thanks!

This isn't a question really - I had just wanted to let you know that I was able to read The Ones That Got Away early from Netgalley. I've never read any of your books before and I fell in love! You definitely gained a new reader! I am still thinking about it days later! Which of your other books are similar to this one?
