I haven't seen readers get so passionate about a love triangle since Twilight. Do you ever regret setting it up that way, or does that make you more excited to write it? Will we know who the man in Dylan's life will be before the blurb is released?

Hey, Ashlynn!
Are they passionate? I actually haven't seen much, but that's probably because there are a lot of places online I don't go ;)
I don't regret setting it up that way, and honestly, I'm not sure it will be a mystery for long once we get to the story, so I'm not sure how much of a triangle it will be. But really, anything that gets people talking and invested is good. It's a credit to the characters. There are so many books we read where we're done with it the moment it ends and ready to move on to the next, and I love that people want to see this journey unfold, even if some are bound to be disappointed by my choice for Dylan.
I know lots of readers hate love triangles, and honestly, it wasn't a decision on my part really. When I wrote the Aflame epilogue and started taking a look at these new characters, the dynamics were just like that. It was pretty natural and obvious. Readers might get frustrated with triangle tensions, but they haven't read a love triangle by me yet, so maybe I can pull off something great. Hopefully! Lol.
And no, you probably won't know who her love will be until the book, simply because I have no idea if there will be a change as I write it. I may realize she has amazing chemistry with the the other one instead. It's always best to say as little as possible until I'm sure. I just encourage readers to be open minded, because the love interest for the other brother is incredible, and I'm almost more excited to write THAT story.
Thanks for the question!!

I have read a couple of your books and am steadily becoming a bigger and bigger fan, though I prefer your darker romances if we are being honest lol. But I haven't picked up your first book, Bully, yet. I don't know why. I'm wondering if it is at all similar to B.B. Reid's Fear Me series? I love those books, but I'm just wondering if I'm going to be getting that same dark vibe or if Bully is a fluffy contemporary?
