I really enjoy your stuff, and Alexandre Dumas as well. So I feel like I am missing something with the references to Dumas and Gosselin in the New Amsterdam series. Is Gosselin a Dumas character from one of his works I haven't read? Or does he only appear in the alternate reality version of Dumas' fiction?

Dumas's GOSSELIN is, alas, one of the books in Dream's library, as it was never written in our own reality.

May I quote 'Ink and Steel' on tumblr and a closed reading group in Facebook I'm in? (It seemed polite for your permission, since I can. I hope it's not a waste of your time. I apologize if it is. ) Kit and Morgan, Kit and Lucifer, and even Baines have some of best lines I've ever heard in that book. It'll be a great introduction to your work for some of my friends.
