What was your inspiration to writing "Rebel of the Sands"? I loved it!

Alwyn Hamilton Thanks so much! I'm so pleased that you enjoyed REBEL! There were a lot of different things that came together in my brain to form REBEL, but the main one came from an article I read online that made the case that women should not wield the same weapons as men in fantasy novels because "women just don't have the same physical strength." Cue my eye roll and my desire to write a book where a girl wielded a weapon that requires no strength. Thus was born the Girl with the Gun/The Blue Eyed Bandit/Amani. And I built the rest of the story out from her.

Why was there a cover change for the hardcover, but the uk paperback has the matching cover with the Rebel in the sands in hardcover. And there is no matching edition for the traitor to the throne hardcover for the rebel of the sands in hardcover.?
