I will be unable to do any Amazon pre-orders until around May of 2018. That's all on Amazon; it was NOT my decision or choice. The Ghost Had an Early Check-out will not be available for pre-orders through Amazon.

Nor will The Magician Murders or the next Holmes & Moriarity. Again, this is Amazon's decision because I was late on one--ONE--pre-order.

It penalizes readers as much or more as it inconveniences me, but... that's Amazon for you.

You have created so many amazing characters and I wanted to ask how you keep track of them. If you write a sequel for example, do you read the books again, or do you keep notes on your characters? If yes, do you have a special system? Their personalities always seem so distinct and in character, even if you've written other novels in between parts of a series.
