What is the best experience that you've had since you began writing? And what inspired you to become an author?

Colleen Houck Going to Brazil was amazing. I will always cherish the experience of meeting some of my most enthusiastic fans. I was inspired by the stories of Stephenie Meyer and J. K. Rowling. They were two ladies who weren't planning on being writers, they just sort of made it happen. Their stories made me brave enough to try.
