With #metoo and #timesup, do you ever feel like it would be satisfying or even useful to publicly name the men who have committed violence against you? I know in the past you have written that you would not, but I am wondering if this moment in time makes a difference.

Roxane Gay I don't even know the names of all of the young men who assaulted me. The names I do know... I don't feel the need to say publicly. I don't have the energy for everything that would follow. It would not be in my best interests.
