I get almost all of my books from the library. As a writer, how do you feel about people reading your books from the library rather than buying them? Does one support your craft more than the other?

Roxane Gay I support however people come to books. Certainly, when a reader buys my books, that's how I make my living but we also receive a royalty on the copies the library buys. Buying books always supports the writer more BUT it is not realistic or expected to buy every book. Libraries are an incredible community resource and one i value as both a reader and writer.

I just bought a copy of 'Bad Feminist'. I thought that overall, the size of both the book and text is perhaps unusually large. Is it intentionally designed this way? (Nowhere to hide...It's making it easier for people to judge me on the bus)
