Lodina asked Lisa Wingate:

Hi Lisa, I truly enjoyed your book, though it was hard to read about the atrocities of children being abducted by the Tennessee Children's Home Society. Which sister was Avery's grandmother? It got a little confusing keeping the given names at birth and the changed names when abducted. I can't wait to read more of your books! Thank you! Lodina

Hi Lodina,
Judy is one of the twins born to Queenie and Briny at the beginning of the book. Many of the newborns in Georgia Tann's system were procured simply by telling birth mothers the babies had not survived birth, which is the case with Queenie and Briny's twins. In reality, one of them (a girl) is whisked away to replace the stillborn grandchild of the "important and wealthy" man in the book's prologue. That girl becomes Judy Myers Stafford. Her twin (a boy) is never found by the family. There's some discussion of Judy being a twin when Avery reveals the family secret to her father in the last few chapters.
