How do you deal with writer’s block?

David Deane Haskell That is a very good question, and a major part of my story. If you look at my work, you might notice that I wrote a lot prior to 2020, and then stopped cold. That, my friends, was a five year writer's block I was grappling with, along with some much needed emotional and spiritual healing work which had to come first (I can't say why!), before the writing could resume.

Then, in January 2024, the floodgates re-opened, and I've been writing ever since. And now, it's my year to publish all that new material!

So how do deal with it? I wish I knew! All I can say is, if you're struggling with it, don't give up. I wanted to so many times, but for some reason, I just kept on pushing through, until I could write again.
