To be honest: The part right after midpoint. It's usually a more quiet phase, were things settle after a climax (often, quite literally, hehe) and then move on to the crisis (which I love to write). The endings are also a challenge, because it's so hard to say goodbye to my characters.

I just read Violent Delights. It is my only book of yours I have read. So I don't know how often you put rape or dubious consent in your books. My question is this: Does the fact that women find rape a turn on give you any sense of existential dread? Why are women turned on by rape? Do you feel any conflict satisfying this degenerate fantasy?
