I am halfway the Flight Attendant and I am loving it. Cassie character remind me of Leland Fowler (The laws of similar); she is getting more and more in trouble by doing one bad choices after another! My question is if you are going to write another historical fiction story like The Sandcastle Girls, Skeletons at the Feast or The Light in the Ruins? I loved those books and I would love to read new historical novel.

Interesting. I view Cassie as a seriously wounded bird: the sort who will fly into a window, brush off her wings, and do it again the next day. I never viewed Leland as quite so much of a disaster, but I think you're on to something. I really love Cassie: she's a mess, but a mess with one heck of a good heart. I am hoping she is capable of change. Leland? Less sure.
My next novel is set in 1662 Boston -- so, you're getting your wish! It will be published in September 2019.
Thanks for your faith in my work. Very grateful.

I am delighted to write to such a great Armenian author! I am also a 'grandma' Armenian author. I loved your "Sandcastle Girls." Now that I have published my last book, I will start reading more of your books. Any suggestions to which of your books I should start with first?

Thank you for The Sandcastle Girls. It's so beautifully written. I'm amazed that this horror happened and that many Turks don't even know that the genocide ever happened. Over a million people died by such horrible. barbarism and hardly anyone knows it. I'm so glad that you have brought this to light. Do you find many people who know the history of what happened in Aleppo in 1915?
