Hi, really enjoyed Battlemage, I've already read it four times! I have a question about summoning from a scroll left by someone. What would happen if you read the scroll but didn't have a high enough fulfilment level to keep the demon? Thanks

The Novice is one of the best fantasy worlds I've read--the lovechild of a fourway orgy with LoTR, Pokemon, Final Fantasy and HP ;) with its own originality OFC. I LOVED that there was no romance in book 1 is it a huge part of book 2? I’d hate for it to be overemphasized :x & for the love of all that's beyond-- no forbidden romance. please?! maybe?! that makes me want to gut someone with a spork. <3
