Goodreads asked S.A. Edwards:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

S.A. Edwards I'm a planner. I find that if I plan a novel over several months, there's no room for block -- as in no ideas. Taking time to plan rather than rushing allows ideas to come spontaneously. When I'm writing and block hits -- as in hitting that wall, feeling like I can't be bothered -- I take a break. Sometimes a day or two is all I need to find that spark and get back to writing again.
