Bianca Punzal asked Jennifer A. Nielsen:

Hello! I love the Ascendance Trilogy and I always keep wanting more to it but too bad it has to end>A< so here is my question... is it possible for you to write about Jaron's family after the incident? I really like to know how his mother been cope up about Jaron's supposed to be dead or how his dad or his brother living knowing that they had to sacrifice Jaron for the kingdom?

Jennifer A. Nielsen Thanks for asking! It would be an interesting scene, and one filled with such sadness for every character. Each person in the family had to deal with something. For Jaron's mother, it was losing a son and never really knowing what had happened to him. For Jaron's father, it was guilt for having forced Jaron away. It was probably worst for Darius, who had to carry all that guilt, and who had expected Jaron would be able to come home.
