Cynthia Austin Hi Elaine. I did recently read nights Arose. I always try to find one review that relates most to how I felt and "like" that review. Your review seemed to agree most with my thoughts. I loved the story of Arose. There was a perfect blend of fantasy, romance and historical fiction. It did seem that the book took quite a bit of concentration, but I think that was just because of all of the magic, astral planes and sorcery that was going on. I do hear the author may be writing a sequel so it will be nice to see what the Voo Doo Priestess will be up to next!
