I was wondering why the gap is somewhat short going from the Salamander to Drake, but going from Drake to Dragon it's astronomically high. After all the Drake has more dragon characteristics and should be able to should Dragon sooner(only needing to enlarge it's portions and create harder skin), rather than only around 10 levels when it needs to make horns and wings?

Taran Matharu The dragon is many times larger than a Drake. The gap between a Salamander level 5 to say, level 12 is 7 levels. But a drake is likely around level 200. That's 188 more than a Drake. You do the maths ;-).
