How did you get to be one of the Rick Riordan Presents books, much less the first? Was it difficult? Did you have competitors? Also, what was working with Rick Riordan like and what was his advice and input? Thanks!
Roshani Chokshi
To be totally honest, I have no idea. The stars must have aligned! I heard about the Rick Riordan Presents imprint in September 2016. When I found out, I was *so* excited that I might finally have a place for Aru's story! I legit ran home and emailed my agent, and then wrote three sample chapters (and a synopsis) that my agent helped edit. After that, we sent it to RRP. I didn't think anything would happen, honestly...but then 2 weeks later, it sold O_O. It was so strange since my first submission experience, it took 6 months. After that, I wrote the entire book. Rick gave some excellent (and hilarious!) feedback. He's very thoughtful in his editorial comments, but I 1000% panicked because he left so many comments lol. I'm very grateful to the RRP family :) I'm so excited for the stories down the road. The next one is J.C. Cervantes THE STORM RUNNER.

Hello! I was wondering if "Death and night" is available to europeans as well. I have preordered "A crown of wishes" and it's not yet March 14th, but in the official rules box it said that the offer was only for the USA and Canada. Could you please tell me how I should proceed in order to acquire the novel ?

Hey Roshani! I absolutely loved The Gilded Wolves, and dying it read The Silvered Serpents. So is there any chance you will be releasing some snippets or excerpts soon? And do you by chance have a time frame in mind for when book 3 will come out? Love you, and thank you for using your platform to speak about BLM. It’s nice to see someone I look up to acknowledge it, when it’s so important to help the black community.
