Previously asked this question but I don't think GR has a way for users to access their records if the question remains unanswered, so it'd be worded somewhat different (if you find both questions, just pick one to answer? that'd be lovely) I've not read Gone series, but I'm interested in superheroes; my question would be, could the spin-off Monster trilogy be read on its own?

Michael Grant Yes. I wrote it with (I hope) enough backstory for people who have not read GONE, but not so much as to bore people who have read it.
