Hello. I enjoy your Mackenzies and McBride series very much. However, I'm curious as to why you didn't create a separate series for the McBrides. Is it because it would be easier for readers to read about these wonderful characters in one series instead of having to jump from one series to another?

Jennifer Ashley Hi Missy: I planned only three stories for the McBrides, and the Mackenzies were a large part of them so kept it part of the Mackenzies series. That was partly the publisher's decision--they preferred me to simply make the McBrides part of the Mackenzies series.
