Hi Nicholas, Hope you're well- I'm midway through Bloody Rose and loving it. The mentions of Saga has made me want to read KotW again. Speaking of which, if these books were ever to be made into a film (I hope one day they are), who would be your pick to play your leading 5 guys from the first book?

Nicholas Eames Hi! I think these books would make a badass movie (or series) as well! I haven't figured out the whole band yet, but I like David Harbour (from Stranger Things) as Clay. My brother recently pointed out that Josh Brolin would be good as well, and I agree. I think Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie from Game of Thrones) would make an excellent Gabe, since he can look both dashing and disastrous.

You've been quite open about just how long the writing process took you and how you were often rejected and even had to abandon your first story before KOTW, so I was wondering how you stayed motivated to keep going with writing and what you did when you felt discouraged to keep going?

Love it! Since I play drums as a hobby, I find myself gravitating toward a variety of musical genres as well. Classic rock, prog-rock, big band, fusion, and jazz to name a few. Do you listen to music when you write? I have found instrumental music (symphonies and movie soundtracks) to be inspiring.
