I finished Theft of Swords tonight! I love the characters and so far Rise of Empire has captured my attention from the first chapter. I do have a question. Did you take fencing or did you research the techniques used in your books?

No, I've never fenced but I did research it through books and online sources. Those who do fence, say I sounded like I was a fencer, so maybe I did something right. Here's hoping that's true.
