Andrew asked Darren Shan:

I thought about this the other day. I wanted to ask you, being an author who had seen your work come to the big screen, what were your thoughts on that? Would you go back to Hollywood and let them re-try? Would you try Netflix to get Cirque DuFreak recognized again? Would you want this to happen with any of your other books, being adapted to screen?

Darren Shan I'm always happy for my work to be adapted -- any adaptation brings new readers into my world -- even though the CDF film wasn't a big success, it introduced a lot of new readers to my work who had never heard of my books before. But ultimately it rests with the movie and TV powers that be -- we do our best to get them interested, and fans talking about the books online and recommending them certainly helps, but they're the ones who decide what gets made and what doesn't. At the moment a team is working on a Zom-B TV series, so that's the only project that looks like it might happen in the near(ish) future.
