Brigitte
Brigitte asked Charlaine Harris:

I just want to say thank you for writing such great mystery books. You fool me nearly every time (about the same time as the main character). I love going on the journey with you & you write so amazingly intricate stories. How do you figure out what should be the mystery in your book? Do you figure out who you want to be the 'bad guy/gal' first or another way? How do you keep it straight in a series?

Charlaine Harris Thanks, Brigitte. I am not much of a planner. Sometimes I don't know who the villain is myself until I'm deeper into the book. This leads to a lot of rewriting, but it's the way I work, and I seem to enjoy doing that.
