Christine Feehan They were not bound. If Mitro were to say the binding words and bind himself to his lifemate he wouldn't have been able to turn vampire.

If it's anything near like the "monster house" scene in the book Safe Harbor, I don't think I'd have the nerve to visit them in their home, even if they'd invited me.
