Garon Whited Hmm. Well, in no particular order, E.E. "Doc" Smith, Roger Zelazny, Robert Heinlein, Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, J.R.R. Tolkien, Steven Brust, David Drake, David Weber, C.S. Freidman, Terry Pratchett, and Neil Gaiman.
For books... okay, look, that's a lot of authors. They all wrote multiple books. I'm not going to list my library!

Hi, first off great series, it's been a real inspiration for my own writing. There was one thing I have always wondered. What happened to Eric's home earth? He found a post apocalypse one like 500 years in the future. Was that an alternate he stumbled upon or his actual earth. If so what happened, world war 3, virus, environmental collapse?
