Hello, I don't know if this is a repetitive or annoying question but I'm going to ask and hope for the best - at what age and how did you know that you wanted to become an author? Thank you if you answer :)

Hmmmm...I realized it clearly when I was 35. I'd been reading a lot and discovered New Adult. It was new on the scene and books like Beautiful Disaster, Easy, and Slammed had just come out. It spoke to me, and it got me dreaming of my own story to tell (Bully).
But looking back at my life, there were signs I was going to write. I always felt in my head and heart that I wanted to do something where I could be heard. Where I could connect with people and do something for them that they valued and appreciated. I daydreamed all the time as an escape. I looked forward to bedtime every night, because I could be left alone to be in my head before I fell asleep. Ad when I was sixteen I remember I started writing a dark romance on a yellow legal pad. Handwriting it in pen. My mom threw it away. Lol. She found it disturbing. ;)
But yes, all through growing up, there were signs. I'm sure it's like that with a lot of people.
Thanks for the question!

Hi Penelope! I am such a big fan! I have read every book you put out so far and I LOVE THEM! My question is - are there any standalone taboo stories like Credence and Birthday girl coming in the future? I love all your series but your standalones are some of my all time favorite books since beginning my reading journey🎈❤️

At the end of aflame I couldn't help but think about Madman, mean I know a lot of time has passed and he probably lived a happy long life with Tate and Jared but I got sad he wasn't mentioned.. Is it weird? I felt attached to him.. Anyway I truly love your books and cannot wait for what you have to offer in the future!
