Hi Roshani, Do you have any tips for writing a good romance? Particularly more of a slow-burn like you did in A Crown of Wishes? Thanks!

Roshani Chokshi Oh wow, thank you! I am a huge romance fan, so I'm so happy to hear that Gauri & Vikram resonated with you. I think, for a good slow-burn, it's all about the process of unlayering the other person. I like to pick small things that immediately stand out to the characters about each other, and work to unpack those aspects emotionally over the course of a book. Tension is delicious and sometimes the best part of a kiss is the lead up to it...focusing on that build and what makes people trust each other enough to let down their guard is, for me at least, the process of how I write slow-burn romances :)
