Jenna asked C.B. Cook:

What were the pros and cons of being a homeschooled writer?

C.B. Cook One of the big pros of being a homeschooled writer was having a lot of extra time! It's different for every homeschooler, but for me, I was able to get my schoolwork done quickly and have a lot of extra time to work on my own projects.

I think one of the cons was actually not having access to as many people. In "real school," you have more real-life inspiration from the variety of people around you. You get that as a homeschooler, but not with as much variety as you would at a public or private school.

I do think that the pros outweigh the cons, though, when it comes to being a homeschooled writer, and I wouldn't trade that experience for anything!
