Since the end of the Spellslinger series is in site, what are you working on for your next series? Will is be YA or adult?

Sebastien de Castell I have several new books coming out or in development. Once the sixth and final Spellslinger book comes out (Crownbreaker in October 2019), there will be two new books in that world focused on the Argosi (well, and the occasional squirrel cat, I'm sure.)

I'm also writing a new adult swashbuckling series as well as a new Greatcoats novel. So, lots still to come!

My brother showed me your book (Traitor's Blade) a couple of years ago. He picked it up because it sounded good. I finally bought a copy and I'm on page 58 having just started today. I just wanted to tell you that it's damn good. Your writing is excellent and the dialogue is stellar. Right out of the gate you've endeared me to the main characters. I've ordered the next two already. When's the movie?

Hi, hello... just wanted to say, just read 'Spellslinger' in one sitting and really really enjoyed it. Amazing writing, so so easy to follow! But anyway, my questions are... 1) How did you come up with the original character names? 2) How did you ever manage to come up with the 'squirrel-cat' concept for Reichis? (who may I add is the most awesome character ever) 3) And will said Reichis be in the 2nd book?
