Goodreads asked Michael A. Walker:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Michael A. Walker You'll have to love the subject you are writing about to pull through the process, but with non-fiction writing, never jeopardize integrity writing what will go in front of the public. The research that the topic bases itself upon will have to pass validation. Sources discovered will not always be verifiable and one eyewitness is not enough to establish a fact. If the source cannot be verified, it would normally have to be discarded no matter how tempting it would be to include it in the book. Any research will have to be exhaustive with regards to subject matter experts that are established and of good reputation.
