K.D. Edwards Hello Alex! Atlanteans age slowly. Rune and Brand look like human men in their late 20s, but are over 35 years old.

Brand will also benefit from the rejuvenation technology/magic that all Atlanteans can use. So, one day, when Rune is older, he'll be able to rejuvenate back to a younger age, and Brand will rejuvenate with him.

So they could hypothetically live forever together. Of course, the kind of work they do, they aren't the sort to usually get the chance....
