Hi! I'm reading (and loving) Sky in the Deep right now. I was wondering what your inspiration to write about Eelyn's time period was? It's not every day you find a YA book about Viking warriors!

Adrienne Young Hi! I actually didn't plan to make it Viking inspired, it just kind of took that shape as I wrote it. I love history and there's a lot I'm fascinated about in that culture specifically so I had fun with it.
