I love your books! (especially the serafina ones) :D!! I have been reading them and the first one I read was in fifth grade (like 3 years ago).. Im so happy that there is going to be a fourth one because I have no more to read :C..... Ok now here is my question :p.. Do your ideas for books come naturally like a random idea or do you spend time researching and studying things (like nature) and then get your ideas?

Ideas for books come from everything around me, including my daughters, the place that I live (the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina), wildlife and nature, things that I love (like birds, horses, wild animals, architecture, art), and so much more. I also spend time researching certain historical figures and scientific facts which I include in my books.
By the way, the fourth book in the Serafina Series is called "Serafina and the Seven Stars" and will be released on July 9, 2019.

HEY! I just finished willa of dark hollow. loved it. just amazing. SPOILERS, does willa die when she changes to the tree? very sad. I Really wanted Adelaide to be human. even more because her desc. was a lot like me. but not even braeden is full human haha. I hope this new willa book goes well, so there can be a willa show, and a fifth serafina! or maybe onedaya serafia show? please answer me, it would make my year.

Hello Mr.Beatty i dont know if you’ll read this because it’s not a question but i wanted to thank you for starting my love of reading with this amazing series.I had hated reading until i read the first serafina book.I just remember how it put Reading into a New prospect for me.I didn’t realize that i could feel so passionately about books and their characters.now four years later reading is one of my favorite thing!?
