Kendare Blake The turtle is nameless! I found the little shelly on a footpath in Athens and snapped a photo before placing the lettuce-lover out of harms way into the shade.

Hi! I love the Three Dark Crowns series and it has inspired me so much! I know the line of queens is extremely long but have you ever considered making some sort of family tree with all of the queens? It would be so cool to know the names and gifts of previous queens!

I know you're adopted from Korea, and I think that's really cool. I myself am adopted from China. Would you ever write a main character who is adopted from East Asia? It's very rare for me to see developed East Asian characters in American popular culture, especially as a protagonist. It's almost unheard of for an internationally adopted Asian one. So is that something you'd ever do in one of your Y/A series? Thanks!
