It took about a year to plan and write Bully, with all the rewrites and a full time job.

I probably resemble Ryen from Punk 57 the most. She was an imperfect heroine who wasn't as strong as she wanted to be growing up but found her own voice.

And no, I don't think so. That's for the reader to ponder and discuss. If you were Delilah, would you respond? What would you say? I think the most important part of Ryen's story is that she reached out to make amends. The rest really doesn't matter. What happens next is Delilah's story. <3
