I am really into your Midnight, Texas series and can't put them down. As a new writer myself, I wanted to ask: What gave you the inspiration to write the three books?

Such a hard question to answer. After many years as a writer, I was casting around for a new series in a new setting. I thought of the summers I'd spent in Texas as a child, and about the small town in which I stayed. Gradually, the world began to assemble.

Will you be writing any more stories (or even books)about Dahlia Lynley-Chivers, who first appeared in "All Together Dead" and has a few short stories of her own? She's an entertaining character and not really part of the "Sookieverse". I'd also like to see more stories featuring Harper Connelly.
