Would you say romance is an essential part of novels such as your Ascendance books? I noticed book three started to contain more romance than the others, and was curious if you continue ie to add more in the other books.

Hi Ethan - I don't think it's essential, but it's certainly there. And if I continued writing the series, I would expect to add in more romance, because it would have to play a growing part in those characters' lives.
