Hi Autumn,
I would dearly love for a movie to be made of Remarkable Creatures. Unfortunately another movie about Mary Anning is currently being made (called Ammonite; not based on RC), and the market is unlikely to support TWO films about her. Sigh.

Hi Tracy, may I ask about your connection to the Cevennes? After graduating from college I came on a trip to Europe and never left! At one point I participated in a youth work camp which by chance was in the Cevennes, and I was enchanted. To make a long story short, I have a house in the commune of Saint Germain de Calberte, which is about half way between Saint Jean du Gard and Florac. Best wishes, Heidi

The Glassmaker (I read the ARC) is now my favorite book of yours . . . which is hard to admit because all of your books are so terrific. While writing the book, how did you wrap your head around Orsola living through all the time periods? I thought it was brilliant that she witnessed the world . . . and her place in it . . . as time seemed to stretch on and on for her.
