I'm such a huge fan of your books you have done such an incredible job! Im a sucker for military/fantasy genre and I love a good magic system. You've nailed both =) The first trilogy echoed the Napoleonic wars and the second trilogy North American colonisation/ revolution which makes for good reading. So have you thought of introducing an Asian setting into your world? Thanks for all the hardwork mate :)

The Gurlish are kind of the Asia of the powder mage world, though we don't actually see them that much in the two trilogies. I talk a bit more about their history in the RPG content, but otherwise they won't be explored before I'm finished. Maybe someday I'll come back to them, though!

I first wanted to thank you for this wonderful story. I have still not recovered from the read, one of my favorite ever. As to the question, I just wondered why you didn't give your characters a family name (except for noble people like the lady Winceslas or Erika ja Leora). Did you do it on purpose ? As another difference between the nobility and the common people ?

Loved entire Powder Mage series & now on my 3rd read. 2 sisters & niece also loved. Loved how you wrapped everything up, but Crimson Campaign was my favorite. Would you consider follow-up short story or novella re Taniel & Ka-poel? 2 of my favorite characters, & didn't get enough of Ka-poel in final book. Just saying. Looking forward to future books. You tell a good story. Thanks so much!
