Your so lucky you got an advanced copy of the new First Law books by Joe Abercrombie! I love your The Band books. I can't wait for the third one. Do you plan another time jump after the second one or will it take place directly after the second?
Nicholas Eames
Hi Pierce!
I feel EXTREMELY lucky that I get to read the new Abercrombie book early, believe me! As someone who absolutely loved his stuff for most of the years I was an aspiring writer, it's definitely a dream-come-true scenario!
Thank for the kind words about my books! I DO plan a time jump of about 14 years, actually. As with Bloody Rose, there will be cameos from previous books but mostly new characters. Heck, I'll probably try and get everyone in there somewhere! I hope you like it.
Best,
Nick

Oh, imagined them older, that is why I chose those actors. Like a lot your casting choices!. Ok, ok, final proposal I swear on it!... given how Nikolaj might be too recent in the minds of many as Jamie in a similar setting, I have this: Jude Law as Golden Gabe and Karl Urban as Clay Cooper, who else can be a kind/protector than the leader of the Rohirrim?. Thank you for taking the time to reply, I am truly honored.

Hello! This will sound like a silly question - but how old are your main protagonists? There's an r/fantasy challenge going on that's a Bingo of sorts. One of the squares is "Getting Too Old for this Crap" Where the main character or one of them has to be over 50, anyone from your book qualify?
