The publisher's art department searches for a photo that matches each story. The chosen images for my books were from different photographers but both reflect themes of "otherness" with a hint of loneliness. I feel so fortunate to be blessed with amazing covers. I literally squealed with joy the first time I saw them.

Where did you get the idea for twinless twins from This I Know? It means so much to me because I'm an early loss twin like Grace. I miss my brother so much and I've never met him. Sometimes I pretend I can talk to him so This I Know is a wish-fulfillment for me. I'm also a small-town midwestern Christian who is disabled, (Cerebral Palsy) it only affects my limbs.
