Will we ever get to see Halar make a vampire? I don't really count the blood queen because she lived most of her life off screen as a demon possessed corpse. I would like to see how much of Halar's powers are because he is a vampire and how much are because he is Halar the undying, first emperor of Carvalen, the lord of shadow. I mean, it is not as if what Halar is is typical of a nightlord from his world right?

It's possible, but Eric is a responsible vampire. He's loath to create spawn, mostly because he has no control over how many spawn they might make on their own!
We do get to see him hybridize Mary, though. Her basic vampire abilities combine with his blood to make changes.

This question is a bit out of leftfield, but have you ever considered a crossover with the Dresden Files universe? I just can't get the idea out of my head. I mean Eric hops between worlds all the time. They are both strong, smart and authoritative hero-types with a dark side. Dresden is a snarky smartass while Eric is big on politeness. Dresden deals with ancient scary supernatural beings and Eric is one. Thoughts?
