When will we get to see Eric eat other vampires and absorb their powers? I would really like to see him pull out some of the classic vamp powers like turning into mist or shape shifting. And could he at least absorb the powers of the tribes on Nexus in one of the sequels please?

You presume his species of vampire can subsume the powers of other species. While Mary managed to adapt to Eric's blood, there's no guarantee Eric can gulp down someone else's blood and gain any of their intrinsic abilities. (As an aside, no doubt he and Mary have had multiple blood-drinking moments between them. It doesn't seem to have changed him much, if any.)

This might be less of a question and more of a request but do you think we could get a book from Mary and Lissette's perspective? I would be paticularly interested in their view of the events from orb. Just what was going through Mary's head when she decided to throw in with the dark horse?
