I just finished Dream a Little Dream (for the 4th time) which was such a sad book... well, it all worked out fine in the end. Now I am re-reading First Lady. How do you go from writing a sad book to writing such a crazy, funny book? I am LMAO here with the things Lucy is saying ... and Nealy. I don't really care about meeting authors but I think you would be "gas crack" (Irish expression - means "good fun") to meet!

All of my books have humor, but some definitely have a few more teary scenes than others. I let the characters and their situations dictate that tone and don’t really think about the transition between books. Not a great answer, but the only way I an really articulate it. And thanks for the compliment! :-)

I was just about to eat lucky charms when I was reminded of a scene from one of your books where the heroine got mad with Hero and she got even with him by taking every piece of marshmallow out of the lucky charms cereal. I can't remember which it was but I definitely remember that it's your book. Which book was it?
