Thanks for the great book "Maybe You Should Talk to Someone". It was the right book for me to read this year as I've been going through a lot. What's most rewarding for you,,,one on one consultations with clients or writing a book that's well received by the public?? I would imagine both but when do you feel really strongly that your efforts are really rewarded and worthwhile? Thanks again, Kathy.

Hi Kathy, great question! I love the work I do with my clients, but I only have the opportunity to work with people one-on-one or in the context of a couple or family. I wanted to bring the insights from the therapy room to more people through the book. Both are rewarding if they're helping people to live better lives.

As a family physician, I see so many patients who struggle with their ambivalence to change their lives. I recommend this book as a way to get them to start thinking about their lives in a new way. Those who have read it, are so thankful. Thanks for writing this. Maybe you can write one for folks with medical conditions such as diabetes, etc?
