Hi Kendare, I am writing my thesis about font color in modern novels and one of the books I use is Anna dressed in Blood. Why did you choose the red font and was it your idea or your publisher's? How do you feel about some editions being in black and white? Thanks in advance!

Kendare Blake The red font in Anna Dressed in Blood was my editor’s idea! She thought it would look cool, like dried blood, and it wasn’t that much more expensive than doing the font in black. I think it’s a very pretty detail, very thoughtful, and makes the design of the book a little more special.

I don't believe that the percy jackson films grossed collectively $423,910,428 worldwide - this isn't amazing but is profitable as by movie standard the film has to make at least 50% more than the production budget which was $185,000,000. So while the percy jackson series was a highly grossing films it was extremely profitable for the production company and I personally feel the Goddess War series would do well?
